Cancer Plays Dirty But So Do We!

On Sunday 14th July ten of our female Workington employees will take part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy at Carlisle.

The Gibbons Girls will tackle a muddy obstacle course over 5 Kilometres and hope to climb, crawl and slide their way to beating cancer.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why they are taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years and consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology offer new opportunities to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor them now by following this link

If you fancy a day out and want to come and support our Gibbons Girls in person the race will take place at Bitts Park, Dacre Road, Carlisle from 1pm.
